Praise for Paralympians

I THINK it is fantastic that, after such an exciting Olympic Games, the Paralympics is receiving the recognition it deserves.

The athletes who participate sometimes have severely debilitating conditions, and to see them take part in such a huge, global sporting event is both humbling and inspiring.

I for one will be glued to my television set for the duration of the games, and I would think that many other people in the area will be too!
