Pupils from a Heckmondwike school learned South African dance as part of a project about different countries.

The pupils, from Cawley Lane junior, infant and nursery school, were joined by singers and dancers of the Mighty Zulu Nation Theatre Company, which tours schools showing pupils and teachers how to perform traditional Zulu dances and songs.

Headteacher Stuart Harris said: “The workshop was part of our international week where each class is studying the culture of different countries from parts of the world as diverse as Scotland, Belgium, Africa and China.”
