Police raided a property in Dewsbury today (Monday) after suspicions were raised that it was being used as a crystal meth lab.
Officers were called to Halifax Road at around 2pm.
Insp Jenny Thompson, of the Dewsbury and Mirfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “Officers are currently searching a property in Halifax Road after intelligence suggested it has been used to manufacture methamphetamine drugs.”
The fire and ambulance service were also at the scene due to the “potentially hazardous nature of some chemicals on the property”.
Two men aged 42 were arrested on suspicion of producing class A drugs.
They are being kept in police custody as enquiries continue.
