Remember these faces?

THE photographs in this week's Looking Back come courtesy of reader Pat Williams.

Pat (nee Bradby) is a former pupil at Heckmondwike Grammar School and she and her classmates were presented with commemorative pictures of themselves, their teachers and the school itself.

The photographs are 56 years old, having been taken back in May 1954.

Pat, who still lives locally, can remember the names of many of her classmates as well as the staff, there are just a handful whose names she cannot recall.

In the photograph of the staff, the line up on the back row from the left is: ? Mr Hadley, Mr Scarfe, Mr Foster, ?, ?, Mr Beaumont, Miss Sparke (these two were engaged to be married) and Miss Waddington.
