The Safe Anchor Trust at Shepley Bridge Marina, Mirfield have got Santa and his helpers to visit disadvantaged children and children with special needs at the Marina. (d05121179)

SANTA Claus is coming to Mirfield on December 8 and 9.

Families can enjoy a boat ride along the canal to see Santa and his helpers in his grotto, 10am-3pm.

The annual Santa Specials, hosted by the Safe Anchor Trust, set off from Lidl in Station Road.

Trips cost £7.50, including a present, for children aged up to seven and parents travel for free.

Light refreshments will be available at Santa’s grotto throughout the day.
