Police are looking for a man in connection with the attempted burglary of a pub in Liversedge.

The man was spotted acting suspiciously in the car park of The Swan pub in Bradford Road by the pub’s landlord around 1.50pm on the afternoon of Wednesday August 13.

The man was seen walking from the side of the building near the beer garden before running off.

A wooden window in the public area of the pub had been damaged.

He’s been described as white, in his 30s, around 6ft tall with short, greasy black hair which was brushed forward at the front. He was of stocky build, but wore a padded jacket which made him look bigger. He also had a grey top on with the number 88 on the front and back, and blue jeans.

PC Chris Birkenshaw from Spen NPT said: “Anyone who may know this man or who has any information can contact me on 101, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
