Shopper robbed in Dewsbury while having a seizure

A MAN was robbed in Dewsbury town centre while he was having a seizure.

The 51-year-old shopper was walking near Argos in the Princess of Wales Precinct when he suffered an epileptic seizure.

When he came to, he realised that his two plain-coloured shopping bags had been stolen.

The bags contained groceries and some cardboard folders he had just bought.

Police today released details of the January 25 robbery, which took place between 10am and 11am.

Officers want to hear from anyone who may have seen someone following the victim or acting suspiciously, or who saw the theft take place.
