‘Shots fired’ at Windy Bank home

POLICE are investigating reports that shots were fired at a house in Windy Bank.

Armed officers were called to the house in Seventh Avenue last Friday just after midnight.

They found that a door and window had been damaged.No fire arm cartridges were found at the property.

Six people were inside the house at the time, but no-one was reported injured.

Dewsbury CID has started an investigation into the incident and enquiries are on going.
