Striking Accord

A BIRKENSHAW mother is holding a concert in Littletown next week to raise money in memory of her son, Andrew, who died aged 25.

Betty Rukin, from Whitehall Grove, is holding the concert on Saturday July 17, at 7pm, at St Andrew's Methodist Church, with entertainment from the trio One Accord and organist Gareth Swift.

Money raised is for the Cardiomyopathy Association in memory of Andrew, who died in 1991. Tickets are 5 on the night, including refreshments.
