Tag Rugby
GIRLS from Heckmondwike Grammar, Castle Hall and West End Middle schools took part in a tag rugby festival on Tuesday.
The event at Heckmondwike Grammar school, organised by the Spen Valley School Sport Partnership and Huddersfield Giants, with the help of young leaders from the school, saw 46 Under-12s take part.
Despite bitterly cold conditions all the girls competed well and all seem to thoroughly enjoy the occasion. The festival was the culmination of a series of coaching sessions by the Giants run at the competing schools.
