Tesco has confirmed it is in talks with developers to sell the Serpentine Mills site in Cleckheaton that was demolished last week.
A spokesman for Tesco said: “We are keen to ensure the land we own in Cleckheaton goes to good use and we are currently marketing it to developers.
“We have interest from developers, but the talks are in an early stage at the moment.”
He added Tesco expects the site to be used for a mixture of housing and commercial.
Tesco confirmed last year that it would not be building a new supermarket on the site, in Serpentine Road, and the unsafe site was demolished last week.
