There's no flies on me
THE nice colourful insect in Mick Hayabusa's photograph (Spenborough Guardian August 13) is sadly not a dragonfly, but is a damselfly.
When at rest, the wings of the dragonfly are left extended whereas the wings of the damselfly are folded back along its body, as in the photo.
More like a "damsel not in distress" rather than a "dragon's den" .... and for that reason .... I'm out!
