A grieving father has won his fight to have his daughter’s killer deported.
Tim Caine has recieved a letter from the Home Office promising the government will do all it can to ensure that Wilfred Museka will be sent back to his home country of Zimbabwe after serving his prison sentence. Museka was jailed for eight years last November for causing 20-year-old Rebecca Caine’s death.
He was twice the legal alcohol limit when he drove the wrong way on the M62 motorway and collided with a car in which Rebecca was a passenger.
ALSO: A Healey shop owner is worried about the future of his business after being hit by robbers twice in two years.
Mohammed Ayub’s Ul-Store was robbed on Thursday, with more than £100 in cash stolen from the till.
AND FINALLY: The Rugby World Cup made a flying visit to Batley this week, stopping at the Batley Bulldogs stadium in Mount Pleasant. Fans were able to pose for photos with the treasured trophy ahead of England’s first game this autumn.
