Traffic lights are a good thing
WITH regards to the letter, Letterbox August 6, about the traffic lights at the junction of Halifax Road/Moorside/Highmoor Lane.
I am very pleased these lights have been installed, as I do not have to wait up to eight minutes to turn right from Highmoor Lane on to Halifax Road between 7.30am and 8.30am as I had to before the lights were put up.
As to New Lane being a RAT RUN it has been a RAT RUN for years.
