Man hit by truck in Dewsbury
A man has been airlifted to hospital after being hit by a truck.
The man, in his mid 20s, was hit by the vehicle near the traffic lights on Dewsbury Ring Road.
The incident happened at around 3.30pm today (Wednesday).
The air ambulance landed on waste ground near Lidl.
The man has been taken to Leeds General Infirmary for treatment.
Rush hour traffic faced disruption as one lane was blocked by the truck.
