The first two victims were teenage girls aged 15 and 13 and the other three were all adult women.

The first incident happened on Cawley Lane, Heckmondwike, as a girl was walking to school. She saw a man in some bushes committing an indecent act and he then ran off.

The second incident was at the same place on June 6, with similar circumstances.

The last three incidents were on the Spen Valley Greenway on June 21, June 24 and July 17.

In the first two, at Ravensthorpe and Heckmondwike, the man caught the attention of women running on the track and then started to commit an indecent act.

On the third occasion the incident was again on the Greenway but closer to Cleckheaton. A woman saw him committing an indecent act and when she walked away he started to follow her and tried to talk to her. He ran off when she got out her mobile phone.

Police believe the same man is responsible for all five incidents, anyone with information should call DC Mike Parris of Dewsbury CID on 101 or CrimeStoppers on 0800 555111.
