A farm shop customer has netted £50 after guessing the weight of a giant pumpkin.
Every year Blue Hills farm shop in Birkenshaw holds a guess the weight of the pumpkin competition – and this year was the 25th anniversary of the competition.
It was won by Emily Breen, who has been a customer for 12 years.
Farm owner Carlton Ives said: “It was the biggest pumpkin we’ve had – it weighed 7st 2lb. It was a good one.
“We give the pumpkin away free as soup in our cafe – this one should make about 120 servings.”
