Letter: Legacy of destroying council housing
Given the government’s hostility to council house tenants and anyone claiming benefits, it is hardly surprising only a few people have bothered contacting Dewsbury’s Tory MP Simon Reevell regarding the Bedroom Tax (Reporter, April 26).

Both Tory and Labour governments have spent more than 30 years getting rid of council housing without replacing them.
