Police appeal after Audi and Mini stolen in burglary

Police are appealing for information about the whereabouts of two cars stolen in a burglary in Birkenshaw this week.

The keys for the vehicles were stolen during a burglary at a property in Moor Lane, Birkenshaw, during the early hours of Monday February 16, and the cars taken from the driveway.

The stolen vehicles are a black Audi A6, registration WF08 DXE, and an orange Mini convertible, registration RV61 WBF.

A 29-year-old man, from Bradford, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and theft and released on bail.

PC Richard Shires, of Kirklees Burglary Team, said: “The two stolen vehicles remain outstanding and I am keen to trace them. It may be that the vehicles have been parked up on a side street or perhaps outside somebody’s house and I would ask that anyone with information contact me on 101 quoting crime reference 13150064223.”
