Little Abigail Horseley couldn’t believe her eyes when she found herself with two Native American Indians.
Two-year-old Abigail went to see a Family Magic Show at the town hall, Cleckheaton, put on by the Bradford Magic Circle, and found herself backstage with Big Chief Sitting Bull and Minnehaha – aka Brian White and Jill Smith.
The duo wowed the audience with their entertaining magic act.
Abigail’s grandad Steve Leyland of Hunsworth said: “Jill is actually my partner and works with me at my bakery in Wibsey.
“Brian and his wife are customers of ours and, earlier this year, Brian asked Jill if she would assist him in his act for the show and, if I as an amateur songwriter could compose and record an effective backing track for the act.
“We both agreed and the act, spiced with comedy, slapstick and daring, resulted in a resounding bout of applause from the audience!” he said.
It’s believed that the warbonnet (head-dress) worn by Brian is an authentic Native American one.”
