RUGBY stars visited primary school pupils to talk about healthy lifestyles.

Huddersfield Giants captain Kevin Brown, hooker Luke Robinson and centre Luke George visited Norristhorpe School to talk to pupils about the importance of a healthy diet and exercise.

Teacher Mark Ormondroyd said: “We are promoting healthy living in school and the players told us about the importance of eating healthy food and drinking lots of water, and taking regular exercise.

“Huddersfield Giants are top of the league at the moment so the pupils were all asking for autographs.

“If you have people like that to come and show what can happen if you look after yourself it inspires the pupils far more than lots of lessons. The pupils want to be like the players so they have been running round the playground!”
