The annual Scholes’ Got Talent final took place at Scholes Village Primary School, and the performances didn’t disappoint.

A total of 18 acts battled for the Trophy, and judges decided that six-year-old Olivia Hemingway (above), who sang Cheryl Cole’s ‘Under the Sun’, was the pick of the crop.
The competition was judged by professional singers, La Musica, and other acts in the competition performed turns such as singing, joke telling and sketches. But the judges decided that little Olivia’s performance included top singing and dance moves and was the deserved winner.

Headteacher Samantha Marriot said: “I was so proud of everyone who took part in the competition. The quality of acts seem to get better every year! I can’t wait for Scholes’ Got Talent 2014!”
