A CAFE in Cleckheaton has been busy baking for a much-loved Kirklees charity.

Taste Cafe, in Northgate, has made its very own cupcake for the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice.

Money raised from the sale of the treat will go to the hospice. The shop has also set up a lending library, with each 50p donation also going towards the hospice.

Owner Mandy Naylor said: “We made the cupcakes and set up the library because we are very passionate about the hospice.

“We just want to do what we can to raise money for the hospice.”

The hospice provides support to the families of children who have life-threatening conditions. The charity has recently completed a purpose-built facility in Brackenhall that will provide residential and respite care.
