Teen robbed on the Mann Dam

A TEENAGER was attacked and robbed while walking along the Mann Dam in Cleckheaton.

The 19-year-old man was standing in an open area near the dam, holding his wallet when another man approached him on Thursday March 8.

Without warning, the teen was hit in the face and the attacker snatched the wallet and ran down a dirt track towards Cleckheaton town centre.

Police have launched an appeal for information about the attack.

They want to speak to a white man, aged around 20-24-years-old, with a skinny build, around 5ft 6inches tall with brown hair. He was wearing a khaki coloured woollen hat with a peak, grey jogging bottoms tucked into a pair of dark blue Umbro socks. He also wore a Nike jacket and a flease hood underneath.
