Vegan festival is a huge success
Hundreds of people packed into Dewsbury Town Hall on Saturday for the first vegan celebration in the town.
The West Yorkshire Vegan Festival, organised by Farplace Animal Rescue, included films, talks, food and recipes and raised funds for the centre.
Farplace thanked visitors, stall holders, speakers, volunteers and sponsors and said: “You helped us to help more animals in need.”
