Retro clothes, food and entertainment will be the order of the day as Batley prepares to be given a taste of yesteryear.
Batley Vintage Day, organised by Batley Business Association (BBA), will feature live entertainment, cooking workshops, sports and a market throughout the market place and memorial gardens.
The organisers have also secured a Spitfire flyover for the event, subject to weather conditions.
The event is supported by Batley, Birstall and Birkenshaw Area Committee, which allocated £11,915 of its budget for the vintage fair.
BBA chairman Andrew Marsden said: “We hope that people will come along to experience something that Batley has never seen before.
“We have something for everybody, from music from all across the decades, to vintage vehicles for people to admire and a host of specialist vintage stalls in the market place.”
Vintage music acts including Natasha Harper, Lula and the Bebops, the Honeybirds, Jayne Darling, Ricky Hunter and all round entertainer Paul Harper will be performing on the main stage in the market place.
Batley Library will also be hosting a range of vintage workshops.
The free event is supporting Batley Food Bank, which is in urgent need of canned, tinned and dried goods.
Batley Vintage Day takes place on Saturday, 10am-5pm.
