FIFTY bus routes in Bradford face cuts to passenger services in a bid to save £4.5m.
If this reduction in public transport is successful, users in the Spen Valley will be affected.
Metro is carrying out a public consultation into which of its bus routes are profitable and non-profitable.
Two services under discussion in the Spen Valley are Arriva buses, numbers 253 and 256.
The 253 service covers Wakefield, Dewsbury, Cleckheaton and Bradford.
The 256 service covers Brighouse, Cleckheaton, Hunsworth and Bradford.
Due to cutbacks in government spending, bus users face fare increases and a reduction in services.
Please take part in Metro’s consultation and let them know how you feel about the future of public transport.
