On the NHS fence?

On Friday I took my wife for an appointment to Dewsbury and District Hospital and noticed that, at a time of staff cuts, nurses are being asked to agree to pay cuts, ward closures, downgrading the A&E and services moved from Dewsbury to St James, LGI and Pinderfields.

The people who are responsible for all these changes decided that it would be money well spent to erect a fence around the car park.

I can only imagine the reason for this being that people are walking through the shrubberies. If this is the case, then what damage is being done now that hasn’t been done since the hospital was built, because people have always taken short cuts through the shrubberies.

I look forward to the reply from whoever is responsible, then the public can decide if these unelected people are fit for purpose.
