Cleckheaton have selected a 19-man squad for tomorrow’s important National League Three North trip to Beverley (ko 2.15pm).
Several players were ruled out of last week’s game against Billingham, with a number of Kestrels once again stepping up to the plate.
The Moorenders produced a passionate display to defeat Billingham 24-18, maintain their 100 per-cent home record and move up to sixth in the league standings.
With Rob Afoa Peterson, Tom Austin and Lee Queeley all still out injured and promising youngster Sam Wood having resumed his duties with the Huddersfield Giants Academy, tomorrow gives another chance for several second string players to again be involved.
Jack Seddon, Jarrad Toulson and Josh White are all included in the initial 19-man squad, while there is also a senior recall for Carl Mason.
Coach Ian Armitage must whittle the squad down to 17 before travelling to a Beverley side, who have only won two of their opening 10 games and have lost their last five in a row.
