All of the Heaton bowlers found the going tough, none more so than overseas player Muhammed Rameez in his first game of the season.

Last season’s league wicket taker finished with 1-105 from his 15 overs.

Hanging Heaton successfully chased down the huge total to win by four wickets with three balls to spare.

New signing Callum Geldart continued the visitors momentum with 68 from 54 balls including eights fours and two sixes before Ismail Dawood (27no) and James Keen (17no) steered them home with three balls to spare thanks to an unbroken 25-run partnership.
