Dewsbury footballer Chris Dawson has signed a three-year professional deal with Leeds United.
The former Dewsbury Rangers junior made his United first team debut against Derby County on Easter Monday and big things are being tipped for the 18-year-old.
Dawson scored seven goals in 12 appearances for United’s Under-21s and he also made his international bow, with his debut for Wales Under-21s in January.
The youngster was already under contract at Leeds until 2015 but has accepted a new three year deal at Elland Road.
Dawson is recovering from a recent shoulder operation but will be fit in time to start pre-season training.
