LEEDS United legend Eddie Gray will host a special evening at Liversedge FC’s Clayborn next Friday (November 16), from 7.30pm.
Liversedge are inviting supporters along to the evening and tickets are priced £15, including a pie and peas supper.
It promises to be a hectic few days at Clayborn as Liversedge play two home games prior to Gray’s visit.
They will be aiming to end a run which has seen them draw five of their last six games in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division when they entertain Arnold Town tomorrow (kick off 3pm).
Last week’s 2-2 draw at Tadcaster Albion has left Liversedge 14th in the table, three places and eight points above tomorrow’s opponents.
Then on Tuesday evening (7.45pm), Eric Gilchrist’s men are at home to high flying Scarborough Athletic in the second round of the NCE League Cup.
Liversedge fought back from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw at Scarborough in the league in August and they will look to spring a surprise in what is their last chance to win some silverware this season.
