Liversedge bow out of Jack Hampshire Cup

LIVERSEDGE bowed out of the Jack Hampshire Cup on Sunday, losing by 126 runs at home to CYL Premier Division leaders Wrenthorpe.

It wasn’t a good weekend for the Roberttown Lane men as they lost by five wickets to Buttershaw St Pauls in Division One on Saturday.

Liversedge still lead the table but only on a better runs to wickets ratio after Carlton drew level on 49 points.

Moorlands are through to the Jack Hampshire semis after defeating Carlton by 15 runs, while New Farnley and Methley make up the last four.

Woodlands are 22 points clear at the top of Bradford League Division One at the halfway point in the season after they recorded a 95-run success over Bradford & Bingley last Saturday.
