Liversedge are gearing up to an important week with two intriguing Northern Counties East League Premier Division derby clashes.
Sedge make the short trip across the M62 tomorrow as they face Glasshoughton Welfare (3pm), before travelling to Thackley on Tuesday (7.45pm).
Sedge were without a fixture last Saturday, while Wednesday’s scheduled trip to Staveley Miners Welfare was postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Sedge still have 15 games to play, seven of which will come in March. They lie 15th in the table, six points clear of Glasshoughton.
Goals from Danny Toronczak and Chris Hirst earned them a 2-2 draw against high-flying Scarborough in their last game on February 2.
