Liversedge secure terrific win

LIVERSEDGE took a huge step towards securing their safety in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division with a terrific 3-2 victory over Lincoln Moorlands Railway last Saturday.

Gareth Saville gave Sedge a fourth minute lead but Tom Garrick levelled soon after and it remained 1-1 at half-time.

Darryl Leach put Liversedge back in front after 78 minutes but just a minute later Danny Brooks made it 2-2 from the penalty spot.

There was more late drama as Lamin Colley grabbed an 83rd minute winner for the Clayborners, who have an excellent chance of finishing outside the relegation zone.
