Liversedge target Boxing Day derby upset
Liversedge FC
LIVERSEDGE make the short trip to Brighouse Town on Boxing Day aiming for an upset.
Brighouse lie third in the Northern Counties East League Premier Division, while Sedge are back in 14th place.
Liversedge’s home game against Staveley MW was postponed last Saturday due to a waterlogged pitch, as was Brighouse’s clash at Heanor Town.
The entire Wakefield League programme was washed out last Saturday, while just one game survived in the Yorkshire Amateur League as Gildersome Spurs Reserves defeated Woodkirk Valley 3-0 in Division One.
