Regan plans a busy summer at Liversedge FC

LIVERSEDGE, especially manager Sean Reagan and his assistant Billy Miller, are planning for a busy close season.

The pair were appointed late in the summer last season and had to rush to prepare a side for the Northern Counties East League Premier Division.

This summer they plan to have a much longer and more rigorous preparation time. The team are due back in the last week of June with the real work starting in the first week of July and the management team hope to welcome back all last season's squad as well as bringing in new talent.

The management duo are planning several pre-season friendlies. Last year they played a team from Scunthorpe Acadamy just before the start of the season which proved to be a useful test.

They will be trying to do something similar again this season using the contacts they have made working with the Academies at Scunthorpe and Darlington.

The club are also planning a festival of football at Clayborn on July 25.
