Savile Town bounced back from their Section A Cup final defeat to Kismat the previous week by recording a seven-wicket win over bottom side Dewsbury United.

Khalil Khan struck 25 not out for United but they were dismissed for just 98 as Zahid Shah (3-13), Ilyas Hashmi (3-18) and Nazakhat Hussain (2-14) bowled impressive spells.

Arshad Mahmood claimed 2-20 in reply but was unable to prevent Savile Town easing to victory at 99-3 as Munawar Chariwala finished unbeaten on 46.

Friends Eleven are level on 69 points with Savile Town after they dismissed Dewsbury for 147 and eased to a five-wicket win.

Kismat’s hopes of completing a league and cup double were dealt a blow by a three-wicket defeat to Al Murad.

Kismat would have felt confident having posted 213-8 but Al Murad secured victory thanks to the efforts of Ismail Patel, who was unbeaten on 64, and Iqbal Mamaniat (48).

Scout Hill secured a 94-run victory over PKWA.

Usman Qureshi struck a half century as Scout Hill were dismissed for 190 but they bowled PKWA out for 96 in reply.

Gujarkahn Star remain second-bottom but were unlucky not to pick up a third win of the season when they were edged out by New Sanam.

Gujarkhan posted 205 all out but Sanam edged to 206-8.
