Spen 20 Mile race on Sunday

HUNDREDS of athletes from around the north of England will be taking part in the Spen 20 Mile road race this weekend, starting and finishing at Princess Mary Stadium at 10am.

The event incorporates the Yorkshire 20 mile championships so the competition should be intense.

The race will be well marshalled but motorists along the route are invited to take care because of the runners.
