Dewsbury Rams are confident Sunday’s final pre-season game against Championship rivals London Broncos will beat the freeze and be given the green light.

A pitch inspection is planned for Saturday, to prevent London making an unnecessary trip north, but Glenn Morrison doesn’t envisage any major problems.

The Rams coach said: “Both teams are keen that the game goes ahead and with the weather due to get better I think we will be ok.”

Dewsbury trained on the pitch on Wednesday night, when there was a covering of snow.

The Rams’ reserve team has arranged a friendly clash against Oxford on Saturday February 7 (kick off 1pm).
