Scholes extended their 100 per cent start in All Rounder Bradford Premier League Championship One by recording a nine-wicket win over Baildon at Jenny Lane last Saturday.
Yassir Ali continued his impressive form by taking 4-23 as winless Baildon were bowled out for just 70 in a match reduced to 25 overs per side.
Andrew Robinson, James Stansfield and Christian Jackson chipped in with two wickets apiece as Scholes took charge of proceedings.
Openers Shoukat Ali (27) and Sam Gatenby (28) shared a stand of 64 as their side side reached their target in 11.2 overs to record a fifth straight maximum points win.
Wrenthorpe also boast a 100 per cent record and are four points behind Scholes in second place after they brushed aside Morley by 111 runs in a match reduced to 35 overs per side.
Wrens captain Greg Wood struck 11 fours and a six in a brisk 62 from 41 balls.
He was well supported by Jonathan Glynn (53) as Wrenthorpe posted a challenging 208.
Quick bowler Matthew Dowse was Morley’s best bowler with 3-28.
Morley crumbled to 97 all out in reply as Matt Holstein (3-10) and Jonathan Rudge (3-47) cashed in and Wrenthorpe moved second after Methley’s game away to Birstall was one of three games in the division to see no play.
Gomersal were edged out by just two runs in a tense 20-overs-a-side contest.
Yeadon wicketkeeper-batsman Jake Wray led his side’s innings with an unbeaten 71, which included nine fours and two sixes but the home side were restricted to 93-5.
Richard Wear (3-17) was Gomersal’s most-successful bowler.
Jamie Bloom (31) battled hard for Gomersal but there was a steady flow of wickets as Michael Hunter (3-35), Paul Machell (3-11) and James Massheder (3-5) led the way and they were restricted to 91-9.
Gomersal’s fourth defeat in five games saw them slip to eighth place in the table.
Ossett’s trip to Bankfoot along with Bowling Old Lane against Undercliffe were the other games abandoned.
