WYKE Amatuer Rugby League Club are continuing their mammoth fundraising effort to replace their clubhouse – a former second world war air raid shelter.
The club members are running the beer tent and barbecue at the annual Wyke Festival at the recreation ground. They would welcome donations of cakes and buns for their stall as well.
The Wyke Festival starts today (Friday) and runs until Sunday.
The club’s golf day at South Bradford GC is on the Friday June 24. Contact Jason Whomack or Alan Terry to book your place on the day at the festival or visit www.pitchero.com/clubs/wykearlfc/ for more details.
They need to raise £65,000 to demolish the old clubhouse.
