Bradford’s Noise Of The Valleys Volume Two features Embrace, Terrorvision, Tasmin Archer and New Model Army as well as Cleckheaton band the Blister Factory.

Unfortunately the Blister Factory have split up but three of the members are now in the Savoy.

It contains over a hundred ‘rock family trees’ naming more than 5,000 local musicians and more than 1,000 bands.

It features individual profiles of hundreds of bands and artists and many local clubs and venues.

Every page is packed with photos, articles, posters and images from the period and covers a massive range of musical styles, from pop and rock to folk and blues to indie and punk to hardcore and doom metal to the dance scene.

Released as a companion to this book is a six CD box set, The Music 1988-1998, containing more than eight hours of music from more than 100 of the local artists featured in this book, including a track by the Blister Factory.
