Set in the 1960s at St Nicholas Church School in New York, the play concerns the young, popular priest Father Flynn, whose forward thinking views clash with those of the school principal, Sister Aloysius – who believes in the power of fear and discipline.

Without any proof but based on some mysterious circumstances, Sister Aloysius suspects Father Flynn of having improper relations with a boy.

Sister Aloysius is willing to go to any lengths to expose Father Flynn and decides to take matters into her own hands – with irrevocable consequences.

The play will run until Saturday October 4 but there will be no performance on Sunday September 28. Tickets can be booked on 01924 465647.
