Marketing events manager Rebecca Whiteley joked it was about time the pub held an event after a ten-year break.

“We wanted to do something really positive for Dewsbury,” she said.

“It is great to have an event close to the town centre that everyone can enjoy over the whole of the weekend. There is something for everyone.”

The event will raise money for Kirklees Music School, which teaches to more than 5,000 children in the district.

Mrs Whiteley said local businesses will also have stalls at the event.
