Join Safe Anchor Trust in Mirfield for boat trips with Santa

Families can join Santa for a special canal boat ride to his secret grotto next weekend.

Mirfield-based charity Safe Anchor Trust will be running its annual Santa Special event from Monday.

It expects to treat more than 450 children with special needs or from disadvantaged areas to festive trips from Shepley Bridge Marina in Steanard Lane, Mirfield.

And it will open up the event to the whole community on Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 8, 10am-3pm.

All children take away a present, a balloon and a Christmas goodie bag. The cost is £7.50 for children aged up to seven. Parents travel free.
