Birstall Woodturning Club is throwing its doors open to the public this weekend.

The club is holding an open day on Saturday at its premises in Unit 46, Holme Bank Mills, which is just below Mirfield Railway Station.

Member Graham Crawshaw said: “Visitors can see us at work and even have a go yourselves. There will be a display of work such as fruit bowls, vases, egg cups and plates, some of which are for sale, or people can commission items from us.”

Admission and refreshments are free.
