World premiere of play features in new season

Tickets for the upcoming season at Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley Theatre are on sale.

The varied programme includes the world premiere of Lost Boy Racer, a quirky northern comedy-drama celebrating Yorkshire’s upcoming Tour De France Grand Depart.

Theatre director Victoria Firth said: “Theatre is a collective experience; a place where people can come together and share the wonder of live performance.

“In this season, we also offer an opportunity to enjoy key festivals and events. We have important stories from the past and those for right now – told brilliantly for you – whatever your age!”

Other productions to be staged include musical drama Wrong ‘Un – A Suffragette’s Story, drama An August Bank Holiday Lark, and Northern Ballet’s Three Little Pigs.
