Apology over Red Arrows disappointment
The organiser of Saturday’s motorbike fun day in Heckmondwike has issued an apology to disappointed visitors expecting to see the Red Arrows.
Daniel Peel has said he received confirmation the Red Arrows were to perform a fly past over the event, which took place at Ponderosa yesterday (Sunday).
He said: “We got confirmation they were going to do it. We are now looking into it to find out what happened.”
He said £1,089 was collected for Help for Heroes.
