PUPILS have produced a series of artwork inspired by a well-known Dutch painter.
The Holy Spirit School pupils looked at paintings by Piet Mondrian, who is best known for his compositions of lines and blocks of primary colours.
They then went home and made their own artwork.
Teacher Makaela Sheridan said: “The pupils made lamps, trainers, tiles, plates, canvasses and board games. I have been really impressed by their response to the project.
“The children had never seen Mondrian’s work before but now they are seeing it everywhere.”
